What Doctors Are Saying About Impulse |

Dear Neuromechanical Team,
I wanted to take a minute and express my sincere gratitude for everything you do and for supporting your clients and your product.
After my Impulse Adjusting instrument stopped working this past Thursday, I realized how dependent on instrument adjusting I had become. It is not my primary method of adjusting, but has become an important part of my own personal technique/repertoire and a lot of patients really prefer it.
I knew there was a seminar in Pittsburgh that weekend and thought I would take a shot at having one of the pros take a look at my Impulse Adjuster. When I got there, Dr. Peterson and Dr. Gudgel immediately went to work examining the instrument and within five minutes had it working like new. I was concerned the problem may have been how I was
maintaining or using the impulse adjuster and they gave me some advice on cleaning and maintaining it. On top of it all, I got a great adjustment from Dr. Peterson. These Docs took the time to fix not only my Impulse Adjuster, but me as well.
The Impulse Adjuster is a great instrument and it's backed by a great team! Can't begin to thank you enough!
Sincerely,
Matthew Cecchetti, D.C., C.C.E.P.
I have been using the Impulse Adjusting instrument for over 4 years now, and it has absolutely changed my life. I was starting to wonder how long I would have in this career due to chronic elbow and shoulder pain using mostly manual adjustments. I had used other hand-held instruments in the past, but they weren't very effective and still caused significant stress to my wrists and arms. I can tell you there is no comparison to the effectiveness of the Impulse. It is so comfortable to the patient, and produces results even beyond what I was getting manually. With the difference in settings and technique options, the range of what it can do is amazing. I think there should be an Impulse in every chiropractic office.

To all the doctors and staff and Neuromechanical Seminars:
I wanted to reach out to my colleagues and recommend the Neuromechanical
seminars. I have been in practice over 21 years, using Gonstead,
diversified, and CBP. In prior years, the thought of instrument adjusting
left a sour taste in my mouth. During my learning years at Palmer I was a
clinic gold coat; therefore I was able to observe and supervise a great
number of students perform adjustments in the outpatient clinic. Fifteen
percent were great with their hands, while another fifteen percent were
horrible. The bottom fifteen percent invariably switched to a popular
adjusting instrument. The chiropractors with good hand skills never used an
instrument.
My three big hang ups with instrument adjusting were: 1) The majority of
practioners using them in school did it as a crutch because they lacked the
"knack." 2) Using leg length analysis to ascertain the integrity of EVERY
joint in the body seems grossly unsubstantiated, not to mention subjective
on the doctor's part. 3) It appeared that other instrument adjusting
techniques developed their protocols and marketing plans to suit exiting
technology.
Last week I decided to take a Neuromechanical seminar. I purchased the
instrument four years earlier at an FCA convention thinking at the time,
"What the heck, I've had the thing for four years, perhaps I should appease
all the whiney patients who hate "popping" and take the seminar for
continuing ed." Little did I know I would be attending a life changing
experience!
Unlike other instrument based techniques, Neuromechanical developed their
technology based on the research, not the other way around. The equipment
and methodology impressed even me, the world's biggest skeptic. The proof
in the pudding was the adjustment. I never imagined I could feel such a
dramatic improvement in range of motion and articular function. In the
first week of introducing Neuromechanical technique in my office, the
feedback is extremely positive.
My sincerest thanks go out to all the hard working people who developed
Neuromechanical technique. You've enlightened me and given me a new and
exciting sense of purpose.
My sincerest gratitude,
John J. Giovanelli, D.C.

Love the instrument and would recommend it to any chiropractor who seriously is wanting to help patients. View his video testimonial here. http://www.neuromechanical.com/videos/drtreadwell.flv Simply copy and paste the url into a new web page.

I am very happy to have purchased an Impulse last December. I have an instrument that overheats and burns up if you use it 3 or 4 consecutive times. The Impulse doesn’t do that. I have had four patients that can’t lay on their stomach on the table. The Impulse is just perfect for treating these people. The Impulse works great on pregnant ladies who can’t lay on their stomach. I really like it for a stubborn neck without all the worries about hurting the patients. Thank you very much. I should have bought one years ago.

I've used the IQ for two days now. With the Impulse in room one and the IQ in room two.
Incredible connection with the patient and doctor. During those two days, I had 5 patients say WOW after hearing the beeps and knowing it needs more. Or to my amazement, the cycle it runs through when I might have only done one single Impulse. I even had a husband and wife in the same room. The wife was getting adjusted and said "WOW", her husband replied, I haven't been able to get her to say that for years!
My wife has a right hip that hurts every morning. I adjusted her the same way I do all the time, except this time with the IQ. The cycles the IQ went through on her trochanter were wild to say the least. Two complete cycles of 2 beeps. The 3rd cycle was short and sweet, it was really cool to hear it beep just once. It's like that feeling of yea, I got it! Her L3 went through only one cycle but you could really feel the IQ speeding up and slowing down, finding just the right niche. The next morning her comment was "It feels freaky good", she has the same pain every morning. Yesterday morning, day 2, her reply was "it's like I've never had it".
Dr. Chris, without a doubt, the bar has been raised and the profession has been changed for ever.
This is my best analogy for what doctors can expect.
Hand manipulation........like writing a letter by hand. Sounds great and very personal, but really, most peoples penmanship is sloppy.
Activator Instruments.........like the first manual typewriter
Impulse.........like the first electric typewriter.
Impulse IQ.........like the first computer.
I'm not sure what the future holds but I do know you have a pretty good idea!
Thank you for helping me to be the best Chiropractor I can for my patients.

Dear Customer Service Rep,
Hello! I have been using the Impulse exclusively in my practice since the day I got it on 2-1-07. I am extremely satisfied with the feel and more impressed with the immediate results patients get.
..... my Activators have been collecting dust in the bottom drawer of my desk since Feb 1st. I refuse to even take them home to work on my family because I want them to get the best adjustment possible and I feel by doing that they would be getting inferior adjustments from me.
Chiropractically sincere,

DEAR CHRIS,
IT IS MY FEELING THAT YOU HAVE PRODUCED AN ADJUSTING INSTRUMENT "SORELY" NEEDED BY THE PROFESSION.
SPEAKING FOR MYSELF, I HAD NOT REALIZED JUST HOW BAD MY HANDS AND ELBOWS WERE GETTING UNTIL AFTER USING THE IMPULSE FOR A VERY BRIEF TIME. I GRADUATED FROM PSC IN 1954, THE FIRST FULL FOUR YEAR CLASS. I WAS TAGHT BY B.J. PALMER, AND PRACTICED 90% UPPER CERVICAL TECHNIC MOST OF MY 50+ YEARS IN CHIROPRACTIC.
A TRUE STORY THAT WILL INTEREST YOU: I ADJUSTED JODI, WHO HAD BEEN A PATIENT OF MINE FOR ALMOST TEN YEARS, THE DAY I RECEIVED MY "IMPULSE". JODI, A BIG BONED FARM WIFE, PRESENTED WITH SEVER PAINS IN HER ARMS, HANDS, AND SHOULDERS. I TOLD HER SHE WAS THE FIRST TO BE ADJUSTED WITH THE NEW INSTRUMENT, AND WOULD BE MY "GUINEY-PIG".
I INSTRUCTED HER TO CALL ME SHOULD SHE NOT RESPOND QUICKLY. THIS WAS ON A THURSDAY - THE PHONE RANG ON SUNDAY MORNING, AND MY WIFE SAID THAT JODI WAS ON THE LINE. EXPECTING THE WORSE, I ANSWERED TO HEAR JODI SINGING MY PRAISES AND STATING THAT SHE HAD HAD MARVELOUS RESULTS, WAS COMPLETELY FREE OF PAIN, AND HAD SLEPT EVERY NIGHT CLEAR THROUGH SINCE BEING ADJUSTED - SOMETHING SHE FAILED TO MENTION AT THE TIME OF HER OFFICE VISIT.
INCIDENTALLY, YOU AND I MET OVER 16 YEARS AGO IN THE PHOENIX OFFICE OF DR. ARLAN FUHR - AN OCCASSION I WILL DISCUSS WITH YOU AT A LATER DATE. ANOTHER VERY INTERESTING STORY.
SINCERELY,

I am so very excited about the energy with which you have gone forward to create such an AWESOME team of exceptional doctors/people/minds to advance Instrument Adjusting Technique. I truly am excited! Congratulations many times over.
I have been using the Activator instruments for nineteen years of Activator Method technique. Very recently I purchased and began using your Impulse Adjusting Instrument with my patients and could not be more pleased and grateful. My aching thumbs are pretty darned happy, too.
So "THANK YOU", and I look forward to seeing you this year (I'm shooting for Reno). I enjoyed learning from you in years past. If there is the possibility of holding a seminar in California (Sacramento area perhaps), I'd be happy to help in any way that I can.
Sincerely,

Dear Dr. Colloca,
I have had the pleasure to own the Impulse for the last few weeks and all I can say is Wow!! Have had some amazing changes in numerous patient's, which at first I attributed to the "placebo effect". But as a 28 year die hard vet of manual adjusting I am throwing in the towel....Impulse adjusting will be part of our patient care from this point on.
Look forward to hearing from you......
Chris,
After using the impulse the first two weeks I had numerous patient's call and email the office,
and their response was a unanimous "WOW". I have always prided myself on being an good manual adjuster,
but the Impulse has added a new dimension that I had been looking for.
I had bought the first impulse to have another tool to treat my seniors and the timid patient,
but after two weeks I was using it on almost everyone, and the results have been excellent.
I am now the proud owner of five Impulses and feel I am becoming more proficient every day.
I look forward to attending an upcoming seminar and personally thanking you for your time and research that you
have put in designing this amazing tool.

Hello,
I attended the Napa County Chiropractic Association seminar this past weekend at the Marriott hotel in Napa, and I happened across your representatives on my way to our conference room. Later Saturday morning I ended up purchasing an Impulse, and I started using it in practice this morning. For the past 22 years I have been an Activator practitioner. Recently, I have had one instrument after another break down. When I would return them for repair I was told that I must be using them incorrectly. For heaven's sake, after 22 years using the instrument I think I am familiar with how to use one. It became a point of frustration and anger.
Long story short, I am in love with my new Impulse. The thrusts appear to be better tolerated by the patient and it is much easier on my hands and wrists. I think it might not only prolong my career but save my sanity. Any chance you would consider creating one that runs on rechargeable battery? The cord is a bit awkward to deal with, but it is worth it.
Thank you so much!

Dear Dr. Colloca:
The first time I received information on your seminars and your new Impulse instrument, I was skeptical. I even wrote to you to express that skepticism, if you recall. However, I wanted to write and thank you for persisting and including the study on the Impulse instrument with your recent mailing. I bought one……
My patients love it and so do I. I get more effective adjustments with it and it is very easy on my own hand. The other, hand operated, mechanical force instrument that is to be the “cutting edge” in adjusting instruments was hurting my hand considerably. The Impulse absolutely does not! It’s a pleasure to use and it’s getting great kudos from the patients. I’ll be buying another in the near future and abandoning the old, spring-loaded instruments I’ve used over the past 21 years…….
Thank you again for your significant contributions to furthering chiropractic.
Sincerely,
Dr. Rick Boatright Pinetop, AZ

Hey Chris,
I just wanted to let you know that we thoroughly enjoyed all
of the information you presented at the seminar in Charlotte. We
started using some of your functional adjustments you taught and we are
getting awesome results! And, even though the Medicare stuff was
overwhelming and scary, its stuff we had to hear and made a lot of changes when
we got back in regards to it. Thanks again, we love the instrument, it
was great meeting you and we are recommending everyone we know to
invest in your impulse.
Thanks again!
